Connect to Internet using Nokia E71 and Macbook Pro

Basically, this weblog has been done by a previous writer, click here to read the original article but i've adapted this article for people living in Singapore and hold a Singnet account and wish to use their Nokia E71 to connect to the internet via the mobile phone.

Step-by-step:

1) Read Mathew Rothenberg's blog and get the script for Nokia E71. Follow the instructions.

2) Read the blog at here to get an general understanding. For techies, this should be easy but for non-techies it's pretty easy going too :D

3) For me, i'm using the USB cable to connect mobile phone and MacBook Pro OS X 10.5.6

4) For Singnet E-Ideas, you would need the following configuration

• Telephone Number: e-ideas
• User name: 65IDEAS
• Password :

5) Click on the Advanced tab and make sure that you select HSDPA and CID=1 (Note that the CID could be different)

6) Click on "Connect" and if all goes well, then you should be connected.
